Lenovo Yoga – The top-of-the-line consumer laptop to maintain absolute supremacy among convertibles

The Lenovo Yoga is an outstanding laptop in the 2-in-1 category, an area that has kept dominating with incredible confidence ever since it became one of the few companies to nail the design first. The highly adaptable 360-degree hybrid, light and long-lasting laptop is a sure winner from when it first appeared in 2022. There should be no second thought to considering it the best Lenovo laptop because of its good performance, powerful speakers, superb battery life, many ports, and an optional LED display. The laptop leaves no room to question – are Lenovo laptops good?  Surely, you can put your money into the Yoga 9i, 14-inch, 13th Gen Intel-powered laptop without batting an eyelid.

 Lenovo Yoga – What’s inside

The rounded jewel-designed laptop weighs only 1.4 kg and has 1-click function keys and an edge-to-edge keyboard.  Under the hood, the Lenovo Yoga laptop houses the Intel Evo platform powered by the 13th Gen Intel Core processor. The laptop has Bowers & Wilkins soundbar that can rotate 360 degrees, optimized with Lenovo Puresight 4K OLED display and Dolby Vision. The laptop with AI Engine+ features an FHD IR camera with a privacy shutter, and the Lenovo long battery life accompanied by Rapid Charge Boost lasts 14 hours.

The laptop includes Lenovo Smart Notes for taking down digital notes anytime on the locked screen with the help of Lenovo Digital Pen with the feature of Palm rejection and high levels of pressure sensitivity. Besides a smart, secure facial log-in, the time-saving one-click function keys are a user’s delight. The laptop is supported by Windows 11 OS and has a 512 GB SSD Drive with 16 GB Memory and a Lenovo Yoga charger or 100W USB-C slim 3-pin AC Adapter.

 Display, sound, and webcam

The Lenovo Yoga laptop has a 14-inch LCD (1920×1080) and an aspect ratio of 16:10 by default. It’s also available with a brilliant OLED screen (2880×1800) that packs a lot of punch. The brightness is a shade under 400 nits with the VESA Display HDR500 Blue Tick certification. The innovative design of the speakers ensures sound emission in any mode, with some of the deepest basses rarely expected from a laptop of this size. The laptop leaves no room to complain about a notebook that lacks low-end thump.

The 1080p webcam is a notable upgrade that supports Windows Hello. All modern cameras have a minimum resolution of 1920 x1080 pixels that might produce a bit grainy image in low light, but the video images are sharp enough to please users. A physical shutter allows you to cover the camera when not in use.

The laptop has enough speed to meet all your productivity needs. During testing, the device scored high in PCMark10, Geekbench 5, and Cinebench. Its Intel Iris GPU performs very well for 4k videos but is not good enough for video or heavy photo editing.

The Lenovo Yoga has an excellent battery life of more than 14 hours and allows charging via USB-C port in addition to the three Type-C ports and one Type-A port.
